As we Spring into April the new  2026 showdown of the Cryptid Discgolf League begins.

Teams (Creatures) come together  to battle for the throne (Forest).  So far, two favorites have emerged, both hailing from the backwoods.

In the National Discgolf Conference (NDC)  we have the ‘Lumberjacks’. You’ll know them by their tendency to exclaim rather loudly when excited.

The ‘Lumberjacks’ prefer to throw discs the size of trashcan lids. It maybe a bit hairy when they learn that by NDC rules  only discs the size of the old Long Play albums are allowed to be thrown.

Can these  fur clad giants snap off a victory? Or, will they get all matted and stride away in silence?

Not any less impressive is the team from the American Discgolf Conference (ADC). The ‘Shredders’ have weaved their way through the trails to compete with the best cryptids out there.

Tearing through opponents and clawing their way to wins.  Be on the outlook for these red-eyed devils because they often take an ellusive approach and come from behind to rip a way to a win.

The ‘Shredders’ prefer a circular saw blade disc, will they go lame knowimg  that the rules state only smooth edged discs are allowed.

Will we see ‘Shreders’ dogman up for a howling win.   Or, will they become long in the fang and disappear into the darkness?

Tune in Sunday! Or listen in on our radio station WYLD.
