Which animal would you compare yourself to and why?

This question usually comes in the form of ,”If you could be any animal which one would you like to be?”  Since ‘compare’ is the key word here the answer to todays prompt differs.

I chose the Northern Harrier, formally (and often still) referred to as the Marsh Hawk.

This unique raptor is a spieces of its own. Harriers appear to be a hybrid of its diurnal relatives the Hawks, while also sporting similarities to its nocturnal cousins the Owls.

It’s an adaptive and one of a kind spieces which has honed its characteristics and behavior to live life while adding its own flaire. In many ways it is seperate from  the status quo.

In observation the Harrier appears to be casually meandering about, but all that soaring and juking does have a purpose. Being determined and focused, yet a playful and fun indivdual.
